Bonjour mes amis! As a travel blogger, I have had the privilege of visiting some of the most beautiful places on the planet, but none of them quite compare to the city of love, Paris. The French capital is a city that offers something for everyone, from its iconic landmarks to its rich history and culture. In this article, I’ll be sharing my top seven must-do things to do in Paris.

  1. Visit the Eiffel Tower The Eiffel Tower is an iconic symbol of Paris, and no visit to the city is complete without visiting this landmark. I suggest visiting early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid crowds and enjoy the stunning views of the city from the top. The twinkling lights at night are a sight to behold and make for an unforgettable experience.
  2. Stroll around Montmartre Montmartre is a charming neighborhood that offers a glimpse into Parisian life. This artistic district is famous for its winding streets, art galleries, and cafes. It’s a great place to stroll around, soak up the ambiance and enjoy the street performers. Don’t forget to visit Sacré-Cœur, a beautiful church located at the top of the hill, which offers panoramic views of the city.
  3. Explore the Louvre Museum The Louvre is the world’s most extensive museum and home to some of the most famous works of art, including the Mona Lisa. The Louvre has an extensive collection of art and artifacts, so it’s best to plan your visit in advance to make the most of your time there. I recommend starting early in the morning and dedicating at least half a day to explore the museum fully.
  4. Take a Seine River Cruise One of the best ways to see Paris is from the water, and a Seine River cruise is a perfect way to do that. You can admire the beautiful architecture of Paris’s famous buildings, bridges and see the city from a different perspective. The evening cruises offer the added bonus of stunning views of the Eiffel Tower at night.
  5. Experience the nightlife in Le Marais Le Marais is a vibrant neighborhood that is famous for its nightlife. It is home to many bars, restaurants, and clubs, making it a perfect place to spend an evening out in Paris. The area has a unique blend of old-world charm and modern sensibilities and is the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.
  6. Visit the Palace of Versailles A visit to the Palace of Versailles is a must-do if you’re in Paris. This magnificent palace was once the home of the French royal family and is a testament to the opulence and grandeur of the French monarchy. The palace’s stunning architecture, beautiful gardens, and art collections are a sight to behold and make for a memorable experience.
  7. Enjoy French cuisine Paris is famous for its food, and it’s essential to indulge in some of the local specialties during your visit. From croissants to macarons, crepes to escargot, Paris has something to offer everyone. Be sure to explore the city’s markets, cafes, and restaurants to sample the best of French cuisine.

Paris is a remarkable city that has an allure for everyone, regardless of their interests. From art museums to historical landmarks, and the charming Parisian lifestyle, there is always something to do or see in this captivating city.

When it comes to traveling in Paris, taking the train is an excellent way to explore the city and its surroundings. The railway system in Paris is extensive and efficient, with trains running regularly throughout the day. Not only is it a cost-effective means of transportation, but it’s also one of the most scenic ways to experience the city’s beauty. As you ride the train, you’ll have the opportunity to see the lovely countryside, which is dotted with small towns, vineyards, and picturesque landscapes. Don’t miss out on the chance to travel by train in Paris and immerse yourself in the charming scenery that surrounds the city. À bientôt!
